Three more actors and actresses have been announced as part of the highly-anticipated Harry Potter film series spin-off, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them." The Hollywood Reporter reveals that the latest stars to join the cast are veteran actor Jon Voight, Gemma Chan and Carmen Enjogo.

The 76-year-old Jon Voight is a multi-award winning actor who garnered an Academy Award in 1978 for his performance in Coming Home. He also appeared in "Runaway Train" in 1985 and "The Rainmaker" in 1997. Voight currently appears in Showtime's Ray Donovan. He is also father to Angelina Jolie and James Haven.

Gemma Chan, 32, is best known for her television work in "Fresh Meat," BBC's "Doctor Who," and "Sherlock," and has also graced the films "Exam" and "Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit." She is currently co-starring in the AMC science-fiction drama, "Humans."

Carmen Enjogo, who hails from Kensington, London, was previously featured as civil rights activist Coretta Scott King in 2011's "Boycott" and 2014's "Selma." She is set to star opposite Ethan Hawke in the upcoming Chet Baker biopic, "Born To Be Blue."

Fantastic Beasts is set in the world of Harry Potter 70 years before Harry even picks up the book by Scamander, who is played by Eddie Redmayne. Other cast members include Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller, Colin Farrell, Dan Fogler, and Samantha Morton. The film is directed by English filmmaker David Yates, who also helmed the final 4 Harry Potter films. J.K. Rowling herself wrote the script. There is no word yet on who Voight, Chen, and Enjogo will play in the film.

Production has been tight-lipped on the project, and actress Katherine Waterson, who plays a witch named Porpentina who eventually meets Redmayne's Scamander, told Cinema Blend, "It’s set in the ‘20s in New York, and...the cast is incredible. And it’s really fun, we’ve been shooting for, I don’t know, six weeks now and it’s a ball, and that’s all I can tell you."

Waterson previously starred in films such as The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby and Inherent Vice, and is also part of the Michael Fassbender film, Steve Jobs, which is set for an Oct. 23 release.

Earlier this month, Redmayne spoke with Entertainment Weekly about being in the forefront of Fantastic Beasts, referring to the Harry Potter franchise, "The stakes are high because they were so good before. You don’t want to screw it up."

While fans won't see Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, or Rupert Grint in this film, the story will follow Redmayne's Newt Scamander as he travels the globe to discover and document new fantastical creatures.

Redmayne said, "It’s a complete privilege for me. I love J.K. Rowling. I love the Harry Potter films [and] books so for me this is just the most wondrous gift really."

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them hits theaters on Nov. 18, 2016.
