In today's social media-fueled age, it's easier to gather clues as to what's next for one's favorite TV shows, especially if cast and crew post bits and pieces on their Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages. It may be a marketing ploy, and it surely is working. Game of Thrones doesn't come back until spring 2016, but already there are several fan theories that may ring true.

In fact, Vanity Fair reports that model and actor Staz Nair was cast to be part of the sixth season of the highly followed series. While there isn't any official release on Nair's character, he might play a Dothraki warrior, based on his Instagram posts, which see him learning to ride a horse in scenic locations.

Game of Thrones' season ender saw the Mother of Dragons as a damsel in distress in the middle of Essos as a Dothraki khalasar rode about her menacingly. Huffington Post reports that the Dothraki may be taking custody of Daenerys Targaryen, as she was spotted on set among actors sporting Dothraki-style garments.

Vanity Fair and Huffington Post both report that there may be an arson caused by Drogon, as evidenced by set photos. Moreover, Nail may be possibly linked to Daenerys in a romantic way. While none of this is confirmed, it's not difficult to imagine.

Deadline reported earlier this month that New Zealand born actor Joe Naufahu has been cast in a multi-episode arc in Game of Thrones' sixth season, but HBO remains tight-lipped on his character.

Daily Mail also reports that sightings of Jason Momoa and Emilia Clarke imply Khal Drogo's comeback. Momoa's Drogo was seen atop a horse while Clarke's Daenerys was on foot. Some fans speculate the two may be shooting flashback scenes, as Jason's alter-ego was already smothered to death by Daenerys back in the first season.

Meanwhile, Game of Thrones isn't the only thing keeping Clarke busy, as the recently crowned Esquire Sexiest Woman Alive is also starring in the upcoming film Me Before You, based on Jojo Moyes' 2012 best-seller of the same name. Clarke will play the role of Louisa Clark, opposite Harry Potter's Matthew Lewis.

Radio Times reports that according to author Moyes, the first time she met Clarke, she knew that the actress was the best choice to play Louisa.

"Without her £20,000 wig, she’s actually dark, small and has this astonishing natural warmth about her and is also a little bit klutzy as well," Moyes said of Clarke. "So as soon as I met her I thought ‘that’s the one, she was my number one person.'"

Me Before You is set to be show in theaters on March 18, 2016. Game of Thrones returns to HBO in spring next year.
