The Spider Eggs and Hardboiled Ghosts
This Halloween treat is really cool and fit just right for the theme of the occasion. Living On A Dime suggests this recipe where one needs some hardboiled eggs and black olives. For the spider eggs, you simply need to cut the black olives into two, with one of the half placed upside down on top of the egg, and the other half cut into strips to resemble the legs of the spiders. For the hardboiled ghosts, use a food-grade marker to draw the eyes and mouth on the eggs.
Orange Pumpkins and Ghost Bananas
The Scary Apple Slice Mouth
For this recipe, you are going to need marshmallows, apples, and a binding agent like a caramel or peanut butter. Simply slice your red apple into thin slices and apply the binder on one side to make the marshmallows stick. Put the mini marshmallows on the apple slice and line them up to resemble teeth. Lastly, put another slice on top to complete the mouth. You can also check out this YouTube video on how to make the apple slice mouth.
The Spider Web Pizza
YouTube user Aja Dang gives a tutorial on how you can make this easy recipe for the Halloween. All you need is a pizza crust you can buy from the groceries, alongside some healthy tomato sauce, olives, and string cheese. You can create the spiders on the web the same way as mentioned above. Use the string cheese to create a spider web on your pizza.
The Jack-O-Lantern Hummus Bowl
This healthy treat is courtesy of YouTube user Bodmon Zaid. For this recipe, all you need is hummus, some olives, and a celery stick. Be sure to look for the kind of hummus with more orangey color says Zaid. You can make use of the olives for the eyes, nose, and mouth. The celery piece serves as the stem of the pumpkin. You can also add the crackers around the bowl of hummus. Check out the video tutorial below.
