Inside Out is undoubtedly one of the biggest animated films to hit this year, earning over $800 million worldwide. The Pixar film is set to be released in Blu-ray format on Nov. 3, and Disney has revealed a deleted clip to get fans excited for the release.

Entertainment Weekly reports that the clip, follows Riley as she goes with her father to Take Your Daughter to Work Day. At first, the black-and-white rough animated scene shows Riley excited to skip school and instead go with her father to work. Her excitement wanes when she and her father have to deal with traffic and his proofreading work at the office, which Riley (and her emotions) find extremely boring.

Inside Out director Pete Docter recently spoke with Collider about the how they selected the five primary emotions to star in the film, and why Bing Bong was kept a secret during the marketing campaign for the film.

Docter explained of Bing Bong's absence in movie posters and other materials, "For me as a filmmaker, I'm most excited about this, that we were able to keep it a surprise so that the audience isn't just told everything in the movie."

"On the one hand, you want people to know what they're gonna get, but I also love how you can kinda keep like, there's gonna be a surprise," he said. "That was cool."

Docter also explained the concept of Bing Bong, likening him to an out of work actor. He said, "If you just see this pink elephant alone, do you think, is that movie for little kids? I think the way we treated him was like an out of work actor who's desperate to get his comeback, which is quite an adult spin on it. But we weren't sure how much of that would come across in just a still image."

Docter also touched on why he and his team chose Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust as the primary emotions, among the many more complex emotions a person may feel.

"Early on, we tried characters like Pride and Hope. [Hope] was sort of matronly, she wore big sweaters and says 'Oh I hope Riley has a good day,'" he explained. "And we're like well...there's also something maybe we would want for Joy."

"So I remember deciding we're gonna cut Hope [and] Pride, who's a little bit like Thurston Howell III from Gilligan's Island," the director said. "He's like, 'Well clearly Riley is the most genius of all the children in her class.' He was fun too, but he sort of got in the way of Joy a little bit."

Docter explained that by eliminating these characters, they were able to come up with the final five. He said, "The interesting thing is more recently there's been an accumulation of all scientific study done by like 270 scientists around the world and the five emotions that most of them agree on are the five we ended up with in the film, so kind of an interesting coincidence there."

Disney isn't a stranger to cross-promotion, as according to TIME, they also released a clip of the Inside Out emotions watching the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer and accurately reacting to it (Anger lashes out after finding out that the film won't be released until December).
