Adele weight loss tips & tricks: singer lost nearly 50-pounds due to veggie diet; gives up smoking & alcohol for son
Adele credits a vegetable diet and a lifestyle free from tobacco and alcohol for her amazing weight loss transformation.
The singer who recently came back from a 4-year hitaus with a new album "25" looks greater than ever as she slimmed down and looked great sans makeup in the front cover of Rolling Stone magazine.
According to the interview with the magazine, Adele may not be on a low-carb diet but she has had to cut back on sugar. She also shared that she also goes to the gym but does not particularly enjoy it.
"I mainly moan," she laughs, refering to her regimen. I'm not, like, skipping to the fucking gym. I don't enjoy it. I do like doing weights. I don't like looking in the mirror. Blood vessels burst on my face really easily, so I'm so conscious when I'm lifting weights not to let them burst in my face. And if I don't tour, you'll catch me back down at the Chinese!"
Although it is not known how much pounds the "Hello" singer has lost, Examiner reports that it may be at least 50 pounds based on her before and after photos.
The singer reveals that she is trying to like vegetables to which her fiance, Simon Konecki has been encouraging her to do.
"I'm trying to be veggie. I have to be really healthy and stuff like that," the site reported. "I can find another way of getting all the stuff out of meat you need. I hate that tofu stuff, though. It's rank. Whenever I'm about to eat meat, I always see my little dog's eyes."
The singer was also motivated to become healthier when she had her son, Angelo James, 3, in October 2012. She told the magazine that she had to give up on smoking and drinking because she wants to spend more time with him.
"I absolutely loved it, but it's not that f------ cool when I'm dying from a smoking-related illness and my kid is, like, devastated," Adele explained, as reported by PEOPLE. She also shared that she used to be able to drink a lot and perform before having her baby.
"I used to be able to drink anyone under the table and still be able to put on an all-right show," she said. "But with kids, hangovers are torture. They just know. They pick up on it and just go for you."
Adele's album "25" is set to be released on Nov. 20.
