'Rise of the Tomb Raider' review, launch trailer, release date & news: 5 things you need to know
In the sequel following the 2013 "Tomb Raider" reboot, it has been revealed that actual tomb raidings will happen in the game.
A review by the website, Heavy, states that the game will center on Lara Croft's origins after she set out to the island of Yamatai in the original game.
The "Rise of the Tomb Raider" will be coming out to Xbox One and Xbox 360 on Nov. 10 in North America and Nov. 13 in Europe. It will also be coming to PS4 at the end of the year. PC players, however, won't be able to play it until 2016. All game pre-orders will entitle gamers access to "Hope's Bastion Pack" DLC bonus.

1. The game will take place in Siberia
According to the site, Lara will go to Siberia to find the ancient city of Kitezh. This began from when her father became obsessed with myths and immortality. In her quest to discover the hidden city and find the truth behind her father's obsession, she battles with an organization called Trinity.
2. There will be actual tombs to raid
Crystal Dynamics has taken Lara back to her roots and remind people why she was given the titular title. According to Games Radar, there will be more treasure hunting this time around.
"We have more Challenge tombs, and they're also more robust as far as an experience goes," said game director Brian Horton, as reported by the site. "Getting into them is interesting; solving them is more challenging; and just that journey of getting lost in a big exploration space and discovering them, it really has a nice feeling of reward."
3. In addition to Lara's tomb raiding skills, her survival skills will come into play
According to creative director Noah Hughes, there have been additions that can help increase Lara's skills in the game.
"There are over 15 resources in the game that can be used to upgrade weapons and gear, heal, create special ammo and outfits, and improvise explosives and grenades in combat," Hughes said, via Examiner. "Some resources are rarer than others, so in order to scavenge, hunt, and gather most successfully, the player will have to pay attention to the wildlife and ecosystems and be resourceful."
4. There is a multiplayer-ish mode
You can't play with your friends but you can compete with them. According to CNET, the Expedition Mode allows you to compete with a friend by completing a level in the campaign and the highest score will determine the winner. You can also replay levels to beat old scores and make custom level challenges for friends.
5. In-game microtransaction comes in the form of Expedition Cards
According to Eurogamer, Expedition Cards (EC) can give items or new gear for Lara. It may not be necessary for the whole game but it can give serious advantage when playing the game. EC can be bought with credits earned in-game, these packs can also be bought with real money.
