It seems like a long road to recovery for athlete Lamar Odom, who is still being treated for his near-fatal drug overdose back in October, and Khloe Kardashian, his wife who decided to call off their divorce in the midst of his medical emergency. Kardashian admits that she is still dating professional basketball player James Harden despite calling off the divorce, and says that she isn't getting back together with Odom just yet, Huffington Post reported in October.

Kardashian stood by Odom's side since he was hospitalized for his drug overdose, missing her sister, Kim's baby shower. In fact, she never left her husband's side, prompting her family members to become concerned about her.

"Just recently I've been in the hospital for almost three and a half weeks straight, and finally everyone was saying, 'Khloé, you have to get out of the hospital and just for an hour, go to the gym and do something that's for you," the 31-year-old reality star told the San Diego Union-Tribune.

People reports that the gym enthusiast, who recently lost a significant amount of weight and graced the covers of several magazines, shared, "I had such anxiety going to the gym, but as soon as I left, and Kendall and I worked out with my trainer, I felt like, 'Oh my god, I'm okay. I'm a human again!'"

Kardashian credits her gym routine for helping her get through her relationship problems with Odom. She said, "I was going through a really difficult time in my life, and I was just figuring out if I was going to file for divorce or not."

"It wasn't about weight at all," Kardashian, who trains with celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson, explained. "It was that I needed a stress reliever, and I didn't know where else to go where I felt alone and safe, but I still wanted to be around people...[The gym] was just the safest place where I still got that emotional release."

Meanwhile, prosecutors in Nevada are reportedly considering filing a count of unlawful use of cocaine or being under the influence of a controlled substance against Odom, who was found unconscious after consuming drugs at a Nevada brothel, ESPN reports.

Nye County District Attorney Angela Bello said that a potential charge was submitted last week, but did not reveal any details about the potential lawsuit. Authorities who were investigating Odom's possible cocaine overdose were granted a warrant to obtain a blood sample for the investigation.

Odom is still currently recovering at Cedars-Sinai in California.
