Melissa Benoist plays the role of Kara in the newly launched American TV series "Supergirl." Her character is a young woman who has superpowers obliged to help the world. Despite the fact that it is just a rookie series, it has already shown potential to be big. Now, it is making much more noise by choosing to add Blake Jenner in the show. Now, the show feels like a stage for a "Glee" reunion, the E! Online said.

Jenner is the real life husband and former Glee co-star of Benoist. What will his role be in the new TV series? According to TV Line, he will play as the Kara's potential love interest. Therefore, these real life lovers will play as lovers in the series as well. Interesting, right?

Jenner has to play as Adam Foster, who is a handsome stranger the past of Cat Grant, played by Calista Flockhart. Introducing Adam Foster's character is the start of the test of the relationship of Kara and Cat. Also, Kara and Adam will also develop a special connection with one another.

Fans should not be too excited for Jenner's appearance on the show as he won't be introduced until early 2016.

It seems like the "Supergirl" series will be much more exciting by having a real life couple portray as potential love interests of one another. For sure, Glee's fans will also be very happy to watch "Supergirl."

Both Benoist and Jenner played important characters in "Glee." Benoist played the role of Marley while Jenner played the role of Ryder. The two first met on the show. They also played as a couple who goes through an "on-and-off" relationship. However, in the end, their characters did not end up together. Many of their fans get bitter about it

Therefore, even when fans did not get a happy ending from Marley and Ryder, they are still much more fortunate to get a happy ending from Benoist and Jenner themselves. There is no more satisfying thing for a fan than to see his favorite characters ending up together in real life.
