A lot of gamers have been excitedly waiting for the release or even just a report regarding Nintendo NX. However, Nintendo still did not say a word with regard to their upcoming brand new game console. Despite keeping mum, there are still a lot of rumors circulating regarding their "soon-to-be game console flagship."

According to Digital Trends, there is a shortage when it comes to the information about Nintendo NX. It was just announced on March 2015 by Satoru Iwata, Nintendo's late CEO. He also promised to give more information about the item in 2016.

While it is true that there is no sufficient information released to create a buzz as of now, there are a few reports and patents that people can use in predicting how this new game console will be like.

Two-in-One Gadget

Many gamers are torn between choosing a living room console and a handheld console. There are times when it is great to play in the living room with your family and friends. However, it is also great to be able to bring a game console wherever you go.

If the rumor reported by the Tech Insider is true, then every gamer will definitely celebrate! Why? There is no need for them to choose between a living room and handheld console anymore. It is because the Nintendo NX is said to be both a handheld and a living room game console at once.

Rumors also say that it will be a combination of Wii U and 3DS. Isn't it super exciting, right?

Cross-Play

Tech Times also reported a rumor that stirred the minds of many Nintendo fans and gamers. According to the report, an alleged insider said that Nintendo is focused in making cross-play one of the biggest features of the upcoming Nintendo game console.

It is said that it will be like Xbox One and PlayStation 4 - offering support for cross-play by allowing it to run on another hardware. If it is true, then players from tablet or computers will be able to play against Nintendo NX players.

SD Card and Hard Disk Drive

One of the biggest problems of gamers is that optical drives are not ideal for games as these are too slow. Rumors say that Nintendo would allow gamers to save their game with the use of a hard disk drive or an SD card. The optical drive issue would be solved if this rumor is true!
