The battle of Troy Turner and Annette Turner against cancer might have come to an end. But the couple has to face another cancer battle once again. This time, not for them, but for their daughter Chrissy.

Chrissy, an eight-year-old girl from Centerville, Utah, has been diagnosed with secretory carcinoma. It is a rare subtype of breast cancer that only affects one out of 1 million people. Now, she is preparing to go through a mastectomy at the Huntsman Cancer Institute.

Just like her parents, the girl has a strong will to fight and win over cancer. She has high spirits and hopes that she will be able to make it just like how both of her parents downed their disease.

According to Fox 12 Oregon, Chrissy was scared the first time she knew she has cancer. However, the girl does not give in to fear and still believes that she is going to make it.

The USA Today reported that the girl first got scared and suspicious when she noticed a lump, which she already has for a while, under her breast. Then, she got diagnosed with this rare type of breast cancer.

According to the specialists, she is currently the youngest person who has been diagnosed with secretory breast carcinoma in history.

Battling cancer is never easy. Aside from the fact that a person needs to undergo the required therapies, avoid unhealthy foods and many more, it will also require a lot of money.

Annette, Chrissy's mother, had also been diagnosed with cervical cancer before. On the other hand, Turner, Chrissy's father, has been battling against non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma since the year 2008.

A set of parents who also suffered from cancer, they know well how expensive it is to continue the fight against the deadly disease. They even filed for bankruptcy in 2013 due to their overwhelming medical bills.

It will be more expensive for them now since Chrissy needs to start her medication while her father is continuing his. Fortunately, Melissa Papaj, the best friend of Chrissy's father, set up a GoFundMe page for Chrissy's medication.

As of now, it already gathered almost $50,000 in just a week. Almost 1,000 people from different parts of the world had already donated.

Due to their family cancer history, Brianna, Chrissy's sister, is set to undergo genetic testing to check if she is clear from the disease, Today says.
