Salma Hayek weight loss tips & tricks: Latina actress features slimmer waist at British Fashion Awards [PHOTO]
Salma Hayek looks incredible with a slimmer waist. The 49-year-old recently attended the British Fashion Awards with her husband François-Henri Pinault in a fitting pink dress which accentuated her small waist.
The actress also paid a visit to the Stella McCartney Store Christmas Lights Switch-On event last Nov. 25 with fellow celebrities Luke Evans and Lily Cole, says Just Jared.
Yahoo states the actress is not new to wearing such seductive clothing. Back in July, the Mexican celebrity accepted to pose nude on the magazine Allure.
According to Celebrity Health Fitness, Hayek follows an anti-aging fitness plan which includes doing yoga and controlling her food portions.
"I was always borderline chubby, because I like my food and, frankly, I like my wine. ... I'm in good shape right now."
Unlike other celebrities, the celebrity readily admits she does not like to exercise.
During a recent interview with Glamour magazine, Hayek stated, "I have the bad habit of not exercising, not eating healthy food. I have the bad habit of liking wine and cocktails."
Hayek says she did not develop the discipline to work out even during the mornings. At times, her work schedule required her to work for 20 hours straight for days.
"I don't have time to exercise," Hayek said on Celebrity Health and Fitness.
This is why she likes to do restorative yoga. In a report by Examiner, this type of yoga is said to be gentle on the body and can be performed while sitting or standing.
Hayek adds, "I work with a woman in London who taught me how to hold my body in a way where the muscles are activated all day long, so even when you brush your teeth, you're working the muscles."
According to the actress, her yoga instructor taught her a unique way of toning the muscles. By focusing on using specific parts of the body, she can exercise the muscles without placing any tension or pressure.
The celebrity mom admits to being more conscious about her skin than maintaining a healthy body. For the upcoming holidays, Hayek shares this piece of advice for women:
"Drink extra water. We think about drinking lot of water when it's hot, but we forget how dehydrated our skin gets when it's cold."
"It's also very important to moisturise extra or to get a thicker moisturiser that protects you from the cold. We don't sleep enough, we drink more than usual, eat more than usual and the weather doesn't help."
