‘American Horror Story: Hotel,’ ‘Big Bang Theory,’ ‘Arrow,’ ‘Supernatural,’ ‘Criminal Minds not airing new episodes on Thanksgiving; found out why here! [recap, spoilers, release date, update]
TV shows on several different networks are taking a hiatus this Thanksgiving weekend. Read on to find out which ones will be off the air, plus spoilers on new episodes.
Hypable says "Supernatural" is showing a new episode on Dec. 2. In its place, CW is airing "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles."
Next week's episode is entitled "Just My Imagination." Sam gets a visit from his imaginary friend Sully, who Dean can surprisingly see as well.
The psychological thriller "Criminal Minds" is also taking break says Vine Report. On next week's episode, the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit will be investigating the murders of two undercover agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration with another one missing.
Hotch believes that working this particular case will give them more clues about the "Dirty Dozen." According to the source, the "Dirty Dozen" composes of online hit men.
For this week, CBS is putting "Survivor" into the "Criminal Minds" timeslot, offering Survivor fans of the show more time to watch the show.
According to a report by Heavy, both "The Flash" and "Arrow" will also be taking some time off during"Thanksgiving. Last week, CW introduced the crossover event with the episode entitled "Legends of Today."
On "Flash," Kendra and Cisco go on a date before they are attacked by the character Vandal Savage. Team Arrow appears on the episode to help out Team Flash.

'Big Bang Theory' fans will also have to wait until Dec. 10 to get a fresh dose of your favorite geeky comedy. CBS will be showing a rerun during Thanksgiving week.
During last week's episode, Sheldon rejected Amy's proposal of becoming a couple again.
According to reports by International Business Times, the December episode is titled "The Earworm Reverberation."
"Sheldon, while listening to a Beach Boys song, will realize he cannot get the song or Amy out of his head and will realize how much she has done for him and how much she means to him."
In episode 10, Sheldon will refer to Amy as "the Earworm in his heart." The leak indicates that the two will be confessing their love and affection for one another by the end of the episode.
FX is also putting a hold on 'American Horror Story: Hotel' until the first week of December. According to Cinema Blend, the new episode is set to reveal more details about the Ten Commandments Killer.
