'Thor 3' plot, release date, cast news & update: lead star Chris Hemsworth wants 'Ragnarok' to be like 'Guardians of the Galaxy'
"Thor" has been one of the most memorable movies in history, with its amazing action scenes and great characters. Aside from Thor himself, Loki, the antagonist of the film, has also been very popular. Blame his wit for being loveable despite having so much hate in his heart.
"Thor" is also the most crucial film that connects all the heroes in "The Avengers." The first installment of the franchise did very well. It even generated more sales income compared to "Captain America: The First Avengers."
According to Screen Rant, despite the first installment's success and Thor and Loki's popular "love-and-hate" relationship, "Thor: The Dark World" can be counted as the weakest film of Marvel when it comes to the characters and plot. To bring back the hype of the franchise, "Thor: Ragnarok" should be something unfamiliar, surprising and interesting.
Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth, also agrees that the third installment should be different to make it as big, if not bigger, than the first installment. The actor wants the third film to have the same vibes with the "Guardians of the Galaxy." He pointed out that a surprising kind of humor and intelligent wits, just like what James Gunn had in "Guardians of Galaxy," are what will make the third film great.
The Realty Today reported that it is possible that Loki, whom everyone loves, will only have a cameo appearance in the third "Thor" movie. Fans were saddened to know it. Nonetheless, they are also thankful. At least, they will still be seeing Loki even for just a while. The initial rumor before the announcement of Loki's cameo appearance is that there will definitely be Loki in the third installment. Well, probably the producers tweak the story a little to insert Loki's appearance as he is definitely a popular and well-loved character and fans not seeing him might not give them the complete feel of the movie.
It is also rumored that Hulk will be in the movie. There are rumors that Thor might have chosen him to be one of those who will guard the Asgard during the Ragnarok cycle. The appearance of Thor might probably lure new fans of the movie.
It is also said that Vision might also appear in the film.
"Thor: Ragnarok" is said to hit the theaters on Nov. 3, 2017, says Vine Port.
