What is more frustrating about it is that its predecessor was a big hit! It was totally the bomb that almost every video gamer wants to have it. No wonder why Nintendo expected a lot from Wii U. Well, high expectations just actually lead to high disappointments.

Considering the small sales income generated by Wii U, it is understandable why many businesses, critics and gamers call it as a "flop."

According to Business Insider, it only sold 10 million units within a span of three years. Well, the digits might not be that bad. However, compare it to the 76 million units sold within three years of its predecessor and you can definitely understand how come it is labeled as a flop.

Despite being the worst-selling game console of Nintendo, it can actually still be considered as an underrated work of genius. It is a treasure that has not been discovered by many! In fact, gamers from Reddit commended the game console.

According to them, the console has the games that they enjoy a lot. Some fans enjoy it because of its GamePad, which was planned to be the central hub of the console to make your entertainment center work.

There are also users who defended the console from being called a flop. According to some happy users and avid fans of Wii U, sales is not really that important. For them, even when it did not sell that well, they still think of it as something that has great features and games.

Is it really a flop or a great console? Well, it could actually be both as it had generated "lower-than- expected" income and it had received compliments from different gamers, entrepreneurs and many more.

According to Tech Insider, The Wii U was introduced publicly in the year 2012. It served as the ancestor of its best-selling Wii game console. While it is not as saleable as its ancestor, it is still great and beautiful in its own.
