'Fifty Shades Darker' cast news, release date & rumors: is Jamie Dornan's Christian Grey confirming more sex & nudity?
It will be a long wait before "Fifty Shades Darker" arrives in February 2017, but fans and are already excited to see how the book will be translated into film. According to Movie Pilot, Jamie Dornan is excited to reprise his role, as he told People, "I'm looking forward to embodying Christian again... and getting a chance to show more of him."
Fans are speculating that his usage of the word "show" may mean two things--the film may delve more into Christian Grey's character, or may be a bit more risqué and show more skin. The actor was also named as one of the Men of the Year in PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive isssue, for a good reason.
As for Dakota Johnson, she commented that "I don’t have any problem doing anything. The secret is I have no shame. I think there's a part of a woman that wants to be the thing that breaks a man down."
Speaking of Johnson, she will soon be on the big screen with "Pitch Perfect" star Rebel Wilson for the film adaptaion of Liz Tuccillo’s 2007 novel, "How to Be Single". In it, she plays a newly single young woman who dives back into the dating pool with the guidance of Wilson's wild child character. Vanity Fair reports that the film is directed by Christian Ditter and also stars Leslie Man and Alison Brie. "How to Be Single" debuts in theaters on February 10, 2017.
Meanwhile, E! News reports that the 33 year old Dornan is expecting a second child with his wife, Amelia Warner. Like the couple's first pregnancy, both Dornan and his wife are keeping it quiet, opting not to disclose anything to the media.
The actor also admitted to "actively trying to avoid social media and stuff" because the fame "doesn't feel that palpable until you're online."
"We live a pretty quiet life," the actor told E! News. "My wife [Amelia] and I and our baby...we're not massively aware of it, we just go about our day. We're not chased down the street or anything."
He added that "Another thing that's been good is that I've been consistently working. When you're working, you're so in that—you're going to work, and you're coming home and being with family, then you're going back to work...you're in this kind of bubble."
"There's obviously a bit more interest and you notice people whisper here and there, but it's not out of control at this stage, I'm pleased to say," he commented.
Hopefully, that would stay the same after the release of "Fifty Shades Darker" on February 10, 2017, and "Fifty Shades Freed" on February 9, 2018.
