2. Rhythm Nation

Janet Jackson has several songs that are ideal for a good workout, just check out Shape's playlist.

Although "Rhythm Nation" may seem slower in terms of BPM compared to her other songs, watching her moves on this video will make you think twice about considering this as slow.

3. 'Burning Heart'

This song by Survivor is another favorite by individuals who need a good workout, whether it is at home, in the gym or outdoors. Survivor is the same band behind the iconic Rocky Balboa song 'Eye of the Tiger.'

Sam Razvi on Coach Mag says, "The four-to-the-floor bass will help drag you through any tough gym period and the melodic screams about worlds colliding, unmistakable fire and warrior codes will ensure you summon that reserve of workout-conquering energy you know you have deep down somewhere."

4. 'Lose Yourself'

If you are feeling low and uninspired to do some pushups or a jog around the block then this inspirational song from Eminem is sure to fire you up says Insider Monkey.

Still not convinced? A recent study published on Medical Daily shows that Eminem's music can boost one's drive by as much as 10 percent.

Researchers from Gloucestershire's Hartpury College monitored the performance of Ben Harper. The British swimmer listened to songs from approximately 100 artists.

Out of hundreds of songs, Eminem's 'Lose Yourself' made it to the top 10.

The researchers said, "listening to Eminem inspires confidence and determination as there is a general theme of triumphing against the odds while other songs made Ben think of his daughter and reminded him why he's doing this historic challenge... to show that ordinary people can achieve the extraordinary."

5. 'Stronger'

Whatever you feel about Kanye West, you have to admit he makes some great upbeat songs. The beat and the lyrics are sure to get you pumped up for your jog, run or workout.
