MacBook Air 2016 Release Date, Specs & Price: Thinner Laptops Underway? Big Internal Design Changes Expected [Rumor Review]

For those people who are fans of gadgets, the Worldwide Development Conference (WWDC) is one of the most interesting events for 2016. According to Mac Rumors, there is a great possibility that Apple will introduce an improved version of MacBook Air in WWDC. No wonder why MacBook fans are so excited for the conference to take place.

The WWDC is expected to take place in June as the previous WWDCs were also held in the month of June. There are also claims that the release of the brand new MacBook Air will fall in the third quarter of 2016. However, these are not yet the final dates as there are no official announcements coming from Apple yet.

Currently, MacBook Air is available in two sizes—11-inch and 13-inch models.

The BGR reported that Apple has already come up with a brand new design for their 13-inch and 15-inch brand new MacBook Air ready for release on 2016. Considering that they only talked about the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBooks, it is possible that the new MacBook Air won't be available in 11-inch. However, that is still a rumor and nothing has been confirmed yet.

It is also stated that the brand new MacBook Air will feature brand new panels, metal chassis, cooling modules and battery modules.

Aside from having brand new features and a bigger size, the MacBook Air will also be thinner than the current model today. People know loved it when Apple introduced thin laptops. For sure, they will also be so much happier to know that they will make it much thinner. They also expect it to be much lighter and much easier for them to carry.

According to Macworld, the new MacBook Air will be boasting its better graphics, faster flash storage and faster processors.

The Laptop Mag also said that there are chances that Apple might decide to stop using the Air moniker this time. It is because the leading tech company is planning to make its laptop offerings' hierarchy much simpler.

Aside from MacBooks and Airs, the company also offer MacBook Pro, which many people also love.

The company is also known for their tablets and smartphone. It just recently released its new smartphone flagship. Not too long since the launching of iPhone 6S, rumors for the upcoming iPhone 7 have come up. Nonetheless, it will still take some time before the public can get hold of the iPhone 7.
