This and some of her weight loss tricks led to an enviable 50-lb weight loss in three years. And, she did that all in a healthy way.

One of her fans from the audience asked Williams for some weight loss tips and she said that she was able to ditch meat altogether, along with refined sugars and dairy, according to an article from People.

On choosing to be meat-free with her diet, she said, "I can't say that that has made me lose weight because I already lost 50 lbs. in three years, which I find to be amazing. Because, of all the crazy diets I've been on, none has ever been as effective as [saying to myself], 'Just push back, fatso. Just stop eating so much.'"

And, thanks to her vegan diet and more active lifestyle nowadays, Williams can still flaunt her bikini body at her age. The talk show host was recently spotted in Bal Harbour, Florida walking in the beach in a cleavage-bearing black swimsuit that showed off her toned arms and legs, ET Online reported.

Williams also do lots of cardio and Pilates to aid in keeping her body in shape. The host also shared that she picked up on other great habits like juicing.

The 51-year-old also said that she regularly goes to the gym, but not just about her trying to shed some pounds, but more on about her goal of staving off heart disease. Williams also admitted that her weight problems started even when she was a lot younger. She told People that it has been a struggle for her to lose weight ever since and that her first diet was in the first grade, which includes Tuna fish and mustard with yogurt on the side.

Lately, she opted for healthier alternatives like kale chips and coconut water instead of those foods that she has been into before like potato chips and San Pellegrino soda. Williams also made it a point not to consume food after dark when food that gets inside your body is likely to be stored as fats. She also recommends a slow and steady way of reducing weight instead of the more risky crash dieting methods. She said one's dream of achieving that desired body weight just won't happen overnight.
