‘Uncharted 4’ beta access, release & code: download now available; needs 7 GB to install
"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" beta has been released a day earlier than expected. Get the details on the 7-GB download here.
PlayStation Europe revealed the news via their Twitter account. The post indicates that the 7GB update is available exclusively for owners of 'Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection' and who have an active membership to PlayStation Plus.
Individuals who have either the physical game disc or have downloaded the game online can access the update beginning Dec. 4 at 5 p.m. GMT says Geek. Players can play the beta game until Dec. 13.
Forbes speculates the end date can still change, judging from how developers are offering the beta phases these days. It is also possible that the developer will be offering the beta to the masses after a few days.
Unlike other games, Gamepur says players do not need to input a code to download the beta game.
For players who already have a physical copy of a game, simply click on "Overview" and choose on the Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Beta to start downloading the game.
Expect to wait for a while to complete the download as the servers may be flooded with requests. Geek says the weekend may be the busiest time as more people will want to access and play the game online.
Players who encounter a bug while playing the game are advised to report what they find on a specific PlayStation discussion thread.
Bear in mind that only the beta version is being offered. It is a limited version of the game.
In a recent report, Gotta Be Mobile says the beta will only include a single game mode and two maps. Each round will only last for 12 minutes while players can only make 35 kills per match.
According to Dual Shockers, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will be the last game in the series. This is the first game where the mysticals are introduced.
The source has provided a summary of the changes made to the game including the concept of mysticals. Additional mysticals such as the Staff of Ayar Manco and Indra's Eternity have also been introduced in the game.
Players can earn points during the game which they can use to unlock sidekicks and weapons. However, all upgrades will not be carried over to the final version of the game.
Forbes states that the full version of the game will be launched on March 18, 2016, and offered exclusively to PlayStation 4 players.
