'Fifty Shades Darker' Release Date, Cast News & Spoilers: Jamie Dornan's Christian Grey Doing Full Frontal Nudity? [RUMORS]
Christian Grey actor Jamie Dornan has rumoredly been offered $1.5 million to do full frontal nudity for "Fifty Shades Darker."
According to a report by Realty Today, Dornan will do a full frontal scene for the "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel after he was offered an extra $1.5 million for it. This apparently goes against the contract of the actor that states he is not to go nude in any of the franchise's films.
A source told Star Magazine in the May 18 issue that the $1.5 million is "just a starting figure." Dornan will also be able to see how the scene will be presented and the nudity will just be "more of a brief tease," Hollywood Life reports.
According to Inquisitr, the full frontal scene might end up being cut from the theatrical version and go straight to DVD instead because having it in may mean an NC-17 rating which would potentially lose them a lot of viewers.
Additionally, Dornan's wife Amelia Warner is reportedly not taking the frontal nudity news well. However, the couple are very private and will unlikely be making a statement regarding Dornan's role.
In other news, Dakota Johnson's Anastasia Steele is reportedly going blonde according to rumors. The actress was spotted with blonde hair and according to Movie Pilot, her new look might be featured in the sequel. However, the sequel's filming won't begin until February next year and Johnson may go back to being brunette again.
For cast news, it is rumored that "Pretty Little Liars" actress Lucy Hale might be playing Leila Williams, Grey's ex-submissive who will have a big role in the second movie. Movie News Guide reports that Charlize Theron might also be playing Elena Lincoln, Grey's former dom and business partner.
Confirmed actors and actresses for the sequel are Elois Mumford as Kate, Max Martini as Taylor, Rita Ora as Mia Grey, Luke Grimes as Elliot Gray and Victor Rasuk as Jose Rodriguez. The movie is produced by Michael De Luca, author E.L. James, and Dana Brunetti with screenplay by Niall Leonard and directed by James Foley. Foley replaced Taylor-Johnson as it was revealed that Taylor-Johnson and book author-turned-producer E.L. James have battled over creative control, according to Cinema Blend.
"Fifty Shades Darker" will be coming to US theaters on Feb. 10, 2017. This will be followed by "Fifty Shades Freed" which is slated for release on Feb. 2018.
