Did a listing that was posted on Amazon France tip the release date of the Xbox One Exclusive "Rise of The Tomb Raider" on Jan. 2016?

According to a report by Tech Times, an earlier post on Amazon France revealed that the release of the PC version of "Rise Of The Tomb Raider" to be on Jan. 29, 2016. However, the date was removed and corrected to March 31 instead but does not guarantee that the game will be released by then. The outlet says that the date may be "nothing more than a placeholder" since there is no formal word or announcement that came from Square Enix.

It was initially planned for the game to be exclusively released on Xbox One and Xbox 360 in November 2015 and then on PC for early 2016. A PlayStation 4 release is scheduled for next year as well. However, according to IGN, the game will remain console exclusive which means that the PS4 release might take until the last quarter.

Digital Trends reports that the delay could be a good thing because there will be more time to optimize and improve the PC version and not rushed like the PC ports of "Assassin's Creed: Unity" and "Batman: Arkham Knight."

A DLC for "Rise of The Tomb Raider" is scheduled to be released next month. It is entitled "Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch" and was released last week during the 2015 Game Awards. According to International Business Times, it is unknown if Crystal Dynamics will also be releasing the same DLC for PC if the launch date of the PC version will be on Jan. 2016. The DLC will be included in the season pass for the Xbox consoles and costs $29.99.

The trailer released during the Game Awards shows that there will be supernatural elements throughout the new storyline.

Watch the trailer below:

"Is the witch, Baba Yaga, truly haunting the forbidden forest? Or is there more to the legend?," a description of the DLC states.

Gematsu reports that the add-on DLC will take Lara to the Wicked Vale in Siberia to search for a man. There she learns about the witch Baba Yaga who supposedly haunts the forbidden forest. It promises "hours of new gameplay" where Lara Croft delves into new environments, meet new enemies and basically fight off threats as she contests with her sanity. Lara will also be receiving a new bow and a new outfit.
