According to Engadget, it is unknown what the upgrade is about. However, the details will be unveiled during the CES 2016, one of the biggest tech events, next month.
Wang said it is better for the delay to be pushed to April 2016 so there's no unnecessary swapping.
"We shouldn't make our users swap their systems later just so we could meet the December shipping date," she said.
According to the website, Wang is confident that people will flock to the Vive because it is much more immersive, have better quality content and great user experience. Additionally, the gadget is not only for gaming and gaming systems but for cars too. Audi will be installing Vives so it can let prospective clients take it out for a virtual test drive. The company is also pitching to schools, hospitals and many more.
According to Game Spot, the HTC Vive is supposed to be released in 2015 if not for the tech breakthrough. In addition to the VR headset, the company will also be releasing a stationary bike accessory next year. It is still unknown how much the gadget will cost.

According to the official Vive website, the gadget will be powered by SteamVR and developed in collaboration with game developer Valve which means its features could be used for the Steam Client.
"The Vive headset was developed in conjunction with Valve, creators of such ground-breaking games as Portal and Half-Life. HTC manufactures some of the finest consumer electronics on the planet and Valve is an unrivaled architect of virtual worlds, so you know the collaboration is something special," it said. Vive is powered by Valve's SteamVR so plenty of games that take advantage of its capabilities will soon be available on the Steam service.
