Now, that we are about to start another year will it be another addition to the over four years of waiting or will the book finally see the light of day soon?
In the last episode of "Game of Thrones" and in the last book of "A Song of Ice and Fire" the well-loved character Jon Snow was betrayed and stabbed to death. Many fans are looking forward to getting a hold of the book "The Winds of Winter" to find out the fate of the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch. Did he survive? If he died would he resurrect?
Following the said episode, there are many speculations that Snow is dead and will not be returning. However, another group of fans believes that he will still be in the battle and they are looking forward as to how George RR Martin will bring the character back in "The Winds of Winter."'
Now, fans will surely be delighted because there are speculations that the overdue book "The Winds of Winter" will be available next year. Yibada reported that the book might be out by February 2016.
Well, whether "The Winds of Winter" comes out early or late 2016, it is expected to arrive next year. According to Watchers on the Wall, Alejo Cuervo, an editor from Ediciones Gigamesh disclosed in an interview the book's release date.
"It is expected next year," Cuervo said when asked about the sixth book. The host even asked him again if he is sure and he said, "Well, let's see, confident...but a meteor could fall." Looks like the book will soon be available. Parent Herald previously reported that the "GoT" production crew was spotted with the "The Winds of Winter" manuscript, which could be a potential indication that the book will soon hit the bookshelves.
Meanwhile, what can fans expect from the book? Per iDigitalTimes, Martin's popular book has thrown a lot of major unexpected plot twists in its own way from Ned Stark's death, Stannis Baratheon's unexpected loss and the Red Wedding. "A Dance With Dragons" threw a different surprise by introducing Aegon Targaryen who was thought to be dead but was trained in secret to prepare for kingship. The report stressed that no one saw Aegon coming.
Is it possible that "The Winds of Winter" will feature an Aegon-like surprise? Is Snow coming back? No one can read Martin's mind. Maybe we can say yes to these questions, but only the New Mexican author can unveil the consequences in his creative imagination.
