Anna Duggar, Josh Duggar Divorce: Anna Says Marriage to Husband is Like Labor; Jessa, Jill Duggar Hints on Possible Adoption
As the year closes, Anna Duggar is slowly unfolding and opening up about her marriage to Josh Duggar and her painful journey after her husband's cheating scandal, Fox News reports.
The final episode of the "19 Kids and Counting" spinoff titled "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" on Sunday was marked with bliss as Jessa's birth to her first child Spurgeon Elliot with husband Ben Seewald was featured. However, the special also showed Anna opening up about Josh's cheating scandal and how it felt like for her.
"At one point. I was like, 'I feel like I've been in labor for like days.' It's like when you're in labor, you just make it through the next contraction and go on and I think there's been a lot of that lately, of just taking the next step and going on," the mom of four reveals.
It can be remembered that earlier this year, Josh was confirmed of sexually abusing underage girls during his teenage years, including his sisters Jill and Jessa. Gawker's data also revealed that Josh was maintaining two accounts on hacked cheating website Ashley Madison and spent almost $1,000. Recently, adult film star Danica Dillon sued Josh for manhandling her during several sexual occasions, giving her Post-traumatic Sexual Disorder, per Radar Online.
The episode also showed Anna visiting Jessa and Ben's home, which is she and Josh used to live. Upon seeing the house, Anna became emotional, saying, "It's special being here because the house is so different, and it's definitely Jessa and Ben's house, but there are a lot of fond memories of starting out here."
"It's kind of a tender spot to go back and be in what was our starter home. There are a lot of sweet memories running through my mind. It was good to be back and remember and I guess have some time to look back," she added.
Meanwhile, "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" episode three also revealed Jill and Jessa's plans on adoption. According to People, Jessa has talked about it with Ben for and is "excited about the idea of adoption."
"I think it'd be awesome. I'd love to have 15 sons," said Jessa while talking about their neighbors who have adopted children.
Jill also hinted on adoption, joking, that if Jessa and Ben went on the same mission, they would "leave [Central America] with some little ones. [They'd] be like, 'We'll take that one and that one and that one! We'll take 'em all!'"
