Mariah Carey 45-Lb Weight Loss Tips & Tricks: Diva Singer Wows in Gold Swimsuit While Vacationing in Aspen [Photo]
Mariah Carey took the time to showcase her bikini body while vacationing in Aspen, Colorado for the holidays. In one of her social media posts, she shared a picture of her looking very fit while wearing only a gold swimwear and taking a dip in a puddle of hot spring with the outside temperature seemingly enough to freeze the surrounding snow.
"Standing on a hot tub, she showed off her curves in the one piece, which featured a plunging neckline. Surrounded by snow outside the water, she smiled and seemed oblivious to the cold temperatures. The sparkling number featured a deep plunging neckline barely containing her chest," the Daily Mail reported.
"#traditions #aspen #wintermoments Sending love to all my #lambs," she wrote in the caption of her Instagram post. Joining the Grammy-award winner in her vacation is boyfriend James Packer, with whom she was also seen in an earlier post all bundled up for the snow, and her two kids, Moroccan and Monroe, according to E! News.
The picture clearly shows the effect of losing 45 pounds that resulted to her bikini-ready body. But, the 45-year-old American singer, songwriter, record producer and actress has also had his own battle with weight problems.
According to Celebrity Health and Fitness, Carey's weight has been up and down in years. She lost 70 pounds after her pregnancy to her twins but has since experienced a fluctuation in her weight. And, now, she credited her weight loss amounting to 45 pounds to a portion-controlled diet and low-impact water workouts.
Mariah also said that she was not fond of her own figure during those times when she was really heavy and came to a realization that watching your food intake and consuming less food are really the key to a successful weight loss. "Since having the babies, I realized that 90% of losing weight is my diet," she said.
Meanwhile, as the singer and her family enjoy their Aspen holiday break, Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" hit song has just climbed into its best rank ever on the Billboard Hot 100. The 1994 Christmas classic reaches another new peak position rising from No. 18 to No. 11, according to Billboard.com.
The song has also been sold 3.1 million downloads based on the data of Nielsen Music since it began scanning digital sales more than a decade ago. It is now considered as the best-selling holiday download in history.
