'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' Season 11: Rob Kardashian Rushed to the Hospital; Diagnosed With Diabetes
"Keeping Up With The Kardashians" Season 11 celebrity Rob Kardashian has been rushed to a hospital in L.A. TMZ reports indicate that he has just been diagnosed with diabetes.
The source says the young male Kardashian was feeling ill during this past weekend. His family decided to have him hospitalized after his condition started to turn for the worse.
After running tests, the doctors in the L.A. hospital where the 28-year-old was confined informed the family that Rob has diabetes. Reports indicate that his condition has stabilized.
The Kardashian family has been unaware that Rob had the condition. Sources have told the celebrity gossip publication that the medical emergency was a wake-up call for the reclusive star.
Rob is the youngest among Robert Kardashian and Kris Jenner's four kids. US Magazine reports indicate that Jenner's only boy has had problems with weight and has been depressed for years.
In an earlier episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," the Kardashian matriarch revealed her frustrations on national TV.
"I cry myself to sleep literally every night worrying about [Rob]. It's breaking my heart," Kris Jenner disclosed to viewers.
A source close to the family told People reporters his long-term battles. "Rob is still struggling and it makes the family sad," the anonymous informant said.
According to Hollywood Life, Robert Kardashian has shunned life in the public eye since June 2015. He has even avoided attending family events including Kim and Kanye's baby's birthday, a graduation party organized for Kylie Jenner and the annual Christmas dinner.
Rob could not be found even during Kris Jenner's birthday in November.
The older Kardashian sisters, Kim and Khloe, are also struggling to reach out to the withdrawn celebrity and help him lose weight. Reports by the US celebrity publication reveal that the sisters have been suggesting that Rob get a chef and even accompanying him on walks to help the star battle his demons.
More recent reports indicate that Rob is trying to get his life around. In September, Rob turned to Gunnar Peterson, a well-known trainer to the stars.
Other than working out, an eating plan has been developed specifically for Rob. His efforts have paid off, losing 15 pounds in the last few months.
TMZ says the recent medical scare is persuading Rob to do more. Sources tell the celebrity gossip website that he plans to start the new year healthy.
