'Pitch Perfect 2' Cast News: Couple Anna Camp & Skylar Astin are Engaged [Photo]

It's a "Pitch Perfect" match for Skylar Astin and Anna Camp, who got engaged on Saturday. The pair took to Instagram to share the great news, Entertainment Weekly reports.

"I asked. She said yes!!!" the 28-year-old Astin captioned his photo of himself with his fiance flashing her engagement ring. Camp posted the same photo to her account, with the caption "He asked. I said YES!!!!"

Camp is five years older than Astin, and was 31 when they first started dating, MTV reports. The actress said, "He’s literally my best friend."

The pair reportedly spent the New Year holiday on the Hawaiian island of Kauai. Back in 2014, Camp opened up to Glamour about her blossoming relationship with Astin, who she first met while filming "Pitch Perfect."

"We were friends first and just hit it off. He’s just so great, and he’s a Libra too," Camp admitted. "We didn’t really have a scene together, but he’s just such a fun guy. He’s great. He was dating somebody, and I had been through [a divorce]."

Camp was previously married to "Scrubs" actor Michael Mosley, but the two divorced in 2013.

"He was like, 'Do you want to go on a date?' I remember thinking, 'He’s five years younger than me.' He’s 26, and I’m 31. But I was like, 'You know what? OK! Let’s do it, let’s see'," Camp recalled.

The 32-year-old actress also shared that the pair are very private, save for the Instagram snaps of them together. She shared, "A perfect evening at home is watching a movie, opening a bottle of wine, sitting in the backyard with the dog, and putting on some amazing jazz, and Christmas lights all around and looking at the stars. Very low-key."

Camp is set to star next in the new yet-untitled Woody Allen film alongside Jesse Eisenberg, Blake Lively, Parker Posey, Kristen Stewart and Bruce Willis, Indiewire reports.

Meanwhile, USA Today reported in May that while Astin was part of "Pitch Perfect 2", there wasn't much going on with his character, Jesse.

"It could’ve been interesting if they went a direction where Jesse’s just three years later, totally over it, doesn’t even pay attention to Beca," Astin joked. "(It could be called) Pitch Perfect 2-and-a-half, like they did with Lion King, where they just kinda move the cameras over. See what Benji and Jesse were up to on that road trip over to Copenhagen."

"Pitch Perfect 3" is set to be released on Aug. 4, 2017.
