Khloe Kardashian is already having a great 2016. The 31-year-old reality TV star graces the Winter-Spring issue of New Beauty Magazine, where she speaks up about her weight loss transformation and how she dealt with criticism about her body, Huffington Post reports.

"People say I’ve had my butt done or I’ve had liposuction," Kardashian told the magazine. "When I hear that I have fake body parts it frustrates me, but I also take it as a compliment."

"I bust my ass every day, so I get annoyed when people say I’ve had liposuction and my hard work gets discredited," the "Strong Looks Better Naked" memoir author said. "Yet on the other hand, I take it as a compliment because it’s like I look that good that my butt looks fake."

As for her self-esteem, Kardashian admitted, "I was blessed with a lot of confidence, so even though there have been so many times that I have been labeled as fat or ugly, I never really felt that way."

"I was content saying, ‘Oh, I’m big-boned,’ or whatever my excuses were," she admitted. "My whole body transformation kind of just happened. I didn’t even set out to change my body at first. I really needed an emotional release and the physical results of working out came as a side effect of relieving the stress."

Kardashian credits her weight loss to working with celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson, who helped her lose more than 30 pounds in 2015. The reality TV star said that what began as a "revenge body" plan (she and her husband, athlete Lamar Odom filed for divorce in 2013) turned into a healthy lifestyle that she continued even after losing a significant amount of weight. Kardashian and Odom remain married, as the former retracted their petition for a divorce following the athlete's near fatal brush with drug overdose in October. He continues to seek medical treatment Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Inquisitr reports.

Meanwhile, Kardashian is gearing up to debut her solo TV show titled "Kocktails with Khloé," which will begin airing on the FYI network this month, People reports.

According to Kardashian, the show will be just like when one would go out with friends and have one drink too many. She said in the promo, "You just start spewing out the craziest stories, and that's what the talk show is based around. It's based around one of the dinner parties I have at my house."

"I'm lucky that I've been able to invite fans into my life and home on a weekly basis," Kardashian shared. "This show will give me an opportunity to continue to do that with new and exciting guests. I can’t wait to show my fans what we have in store on 'Kocktails With Khloé'."

The show premieres on January 20 at 10 p.m. ET on the FYI network.
