'UFC 2' PS4, Xbox One Release Date & Trailer: EA Sports Teases Fans with Ronda Rousey, Holly Holm Rematch

For those people who still can't get over the monumental victory of the current UFC Bantamweight women's champion Holly Holm against previously undefeated and highly-touted Ronda Rousey, they can relive the moment through the upcoming UFC video game.

Better yet, the players can get a taste of the highly-anticipated rematch between the two. EA Sports has just confirmed the release date of "UFC 2" for both the PS4 and Xbox One which will be on March 15, 2016.

The game developer also released the latest teaser video for "UFC 2" wherein other exciting matches were highlighted including Robbie Lawler against Rory McDonald and Luke Rockhold who is seen dominating Chris Weidman, according to an article from the Cleveland.com. Former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion Rousey and UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor will be gracing the cover for the upcoming UFC video game.

"EA SPORTS 'UFC 2' innovates with stunning character likeness and animation, adds an all new Knockout Physics System and authentic gameplay features, and invites all fighters to step back into the Octagon to experience the thrill of finishing the fight. From the walkout to the knockout, EA SPORTS 'UFC 2' delivers a deep, authentic, and exciting experience," wrote EA Sports in the YouTube video caption of the teaser.

EA Sports also guarantees fans that the upcoming installment will feature the largest roster to date. They promised to have an even larger pool of available fighters to choose from, which include current fighters battling it out in the UFC, some of the MMA legends and other surprise characters.

The fans of the video game can look forward to a newly-improved knockout gameplay with the revolutionary physics-driven hit reaction and knockout system, which will deliver a more realistic and unique finish to satisfy every fan, says EA Sports.

Other exciting features of the "UFC 2" are the more responsive and dynamic ground game interaction between the fighters, better grappling experience with the addition of standing submissions and submission chaining, and an improved blocking and parrying system.

Meanwhile, for the early birds who will avail of the pre-order for "UFC 2," the PlayStation Store is already offering a Day 1 access to UFC Hall of Famer and three-time King of Pancrase Bas Rutten, Japanese MMA legend "The Gracie Hunter" Kazushi Sakuraba, plus another mystery fighter who is yet to be named for those who are at least 13 years of age and have an EA Account.
