Many are looking forward to the return of the spy lawyer-vigilante Matt Murdock a.k.a "Daredevil" taking the streets again during the dark nights to fight the criminals. Well, it will not take long because less than three months from now, "Daredevil" will return.

But, what can fans expect in the show? According to Irish Examiner, Netflix and Marvel's "Daredevil" was a surprise. It made the franchise darker than any fan could see from Marvel in the previous years. It highlighted the wonderful story of Murdock as a blind lawyer and masked vigilante. Moreover, it comes with a good action.

Per the report, the original characters and actors will return in "Daredevil" Season 2 to reprise their roles, but new faces will be featured in the upcoming season. The new characters include Jon Bernthal who will be playing the role of the Punisher and Elodie Yung as Elektra. For those who are eager to see the characters for "Daredevil" season 2, check out GamesRadar's gallery for some sneak peek.

Show runner Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez told Entertainment Weekly that "Daredevil" Season 2 will begin with an action-packed scene and they will introduce Frank Castle a.k.a. The Punisher very quickly. "The advantage of any sequel is you can dive right in," Petrie said. "We hit the ground running and then we ran as fast as we f-ing could."

The Punisher is an ex-Special Force agent with a tragic past. He is fit, skilled and talented. He comes to New York as a vigilante to clean up the streets and in this mission; he comes across Murdock (Charlie Cox). He uses guns instead of beat bows and simply murders every criminal he can find.

Although The Punisher and the "Daredevil" have the same mission, they do not have the same perspective; their differences will trigger the feud between them. In fact, their encounter is among the things that fans are eager to see in "Daredevil" season 2.

"Viewers watching the show will be rooting for this guy with a gun but we're also going to force people - the way we force Matt - to second-guess themselves," Petrie teased about The Punisher winning the crowd's favor. "Taking lethal justice into your own hands in America in 2015 is tricky s-t. We have not shied away from the rich complicated reality of Now. If you've got a gun and you're not the police you're going to incite strong feelings. We're stirring the pot and we're aware of the headlines where we live and we're trying to get people to think."

But, who will win between The Punisher and "Daredevil?" GamesRadar hinted that whoever has the line "We're not so different, you and I," loses. Who do you think uttered those words?

"Daredevil" Season 2 will return on Netflix on March 25.
