'Star Wars: Battlefront' DLC Update: Leak Confirms Space Combat, Additional Heroes & More! [Rumors]
There is no doubt that the latest "Star Wars: Battlefront" is the most popular video game today. It sold more than 12 million copies since its November release. It certainly has lived up to the expectation. With the success of the latest "Star Wars" movie, it will certainly make the "Star Wars: Battlefront" even more popular.
With the talks of the new DLC update coming on the way, there have been many speculations on what will be added to the game. Although the game has already acclaimed good critical reviews, other fans are still not happy with some of the critical features. Some fans are requesting for more heroes, space combats and single-player options.
Design and Trend is currently conducting a survey for fans to voice out their opinion on what should be the most important feature for the next "Star Wars Battlefront." The choices are true space combat, single-player campaign, "The Force Awakens" DLC,
more heroes, more maps or leave the game as it is. Although the result of the poll should not necessarily influence the decision of the developer, it should be a very good way for fans to let their voices be heard.
There has been a report that claimed that the "Star Wars: Battlefront" DLC will finally have a real space combat, which has been one of the few downsides of the game. This development should give fans something to look forward to.
There are also reports that EA will add more heroes to add more excitement to the game. Certainly, EA must be doing survey of their own as they obviously know what the fans want.
However, a single player mode for the game is still far from reality as they continue to ignore the fans' outcry for single player options. Nevertheless, two exciting additions to the already great game will surely be welcomed by many "Star Wars" followers.
In a report by Express, Guillaume Mroz, the "Star Wars: Battlefront" hero designer said that the DLC will definitely come out soon. He mentioned offline mode expansions; however, he did not provide any more comment about it, citing proper announcement should happen in the near future.
"I can only say that we're going to announce what the DLC is about soon," he said. "Offline multiplayer has technical difficulties that the single-player guys are definitely looking at. I can't give any dates for that but we're very aware of the huge request for this."
The new "Star Wars: Battlefront" is now available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
