Nokia Lumia Black Update: Windows Phone 8 Update in UK: Availability Expands for Lumia 625, Lumia 920, Lumia 1020 Varying Mobile Carriers [Video]

A new batch of Nokia Lumia smartphones have received the "Available" label for the Lumia Black update in the United Kingdom (U.K.).

As Latino Post reported, the Lumia Black update has been confirmed for the Lumia 520, Lumia 620, Lumia 625, Lumia 720, Lumia 820, Lumia 920, Lumia 925, and Lumia 1020 Windows Phone 8 devices.

The Lumia 520's Lumia Black update is "Waiting for approval" from mobile carriers 3UK, Everything Everywhere, O2, and Vodafone.

According to Nokia, "Waiting for approval" has been defined as "undergoing final testing with Nokia, country or operator to achieve approval."

The Lumia 620's update is also waiting approval 3UK, O2, Virgin, and Vodafone.

For the Lumia 625, the Lumia Black update is "Available" for O2, Virgin, and Vodafone customers. Everything Everywhere will also release the Lumia Black update for the Lumia 625, but it is under the "Waiting" phase.

The Lumia 720's update will come from one major mobile carrier, O2. The update for the Lumia 720, however, continues the "Waiting for approval" stage.

For the Lumia 820, the Lumia Black update is available for O2 customers. The update, however, is "Waiting" from carriers Everything Everywhere and Vodafone.

Everything Everywhere, 3UK, O2, and Vodafone are confirmed to distribute the Lumia Black update for the Lumia 920. O2 and Vodafone have commenced the Lumia Black update rollout while Everything Everywhere and 3UK are "Waiting for approval."

The Lumia Black update for the Lumia 925 and Lumia 1020 are available courtesy of Everything Everywhere, 3UK, O2, and Vodafone.

To check if the Lumia Black update is available, Lumia smartphone owners can go to "Settings" to "Phone update."
