It looks like 2016 will be a struggle to Supercell when it comes to maintaining the popularity of their hit online game "Clash of Clans." Since the team announced their biggest update for Town Hall 11, many anticipated for its release. Unfortunately, when gamers were able to access it, many were disappointed.

The "Clash of Clans" Town Hall 11 was plagued with several issues. First, the gamers complained about the personal break feature, which was later fixed by the development team. Latinos Health previously reported that Supercell faced another round of backlash from their supporters, this time about the looting feature.

In a separate report from Latinos Health, Supercell has finally responded to their gamer about the looting issue and offered a compromise. The team spoke about the things they can and cannot do.

Gamers were disappointed that they can no longer place their Town Hall outside the walls making looting a struggle. Supercell stood firm on their decision to keep this set up permanent. For the team, every player should keep their Town Hall within their walls because it is the heart of their village and it should be protected at all cause.

"Clash was never intended to be played that way - this change is here to stay," Supercell staff Anoushka said in a forum pertaining to the strategy of gamers in placing their Town Hall outside their walls.

According to PR, many players want to bring back the old changes prior to the TH 11 update. Some were so disappointed that they shift to playing the rival game "Castle Clash" by IGG. The report noted that the "Clash of Clans" number might drop further this year if Supercell remains reluctant to give in to their fans' request.

Meanwhile, despite their shrinking popularity among fans, Supercell dominates the Top 10 YouTube Ads in December, Marketing Land has learned. Half of the items in the most viewed ads are from the team; four were ads for "Clash of Clans" and another for "Boom Beach."

The "Clash of Clans" ads hit the top, second, fifth and sixth spots while the "Boom Beach" ad made it into the ninth spot. This is, indeed, another mighty achievement for Supercell. The "Clash of Clans 360: Experience a virtual Reality Raid" grabbed the top spot.

The five Supercell ads generated a total of 69.2 million views in December. The top "Clash of Clans" ad made 30.2 million views alone, which doubled the views of the second ad, which is another Supercell spot.

With Supercell's growing popularity in making entertaining ads, will they still be able to keep their fans, despite their reluctance in bringing back the old update of "Clash of Clans?" Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
