Corden starts it off relaying lines taken from Adele's newest track, "Hello, it's me. I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet?"

Entertainment Weekly said the host made the announcement during the show's episode last Monday. The teaser video features clips of the duo singing along to the songstress' most popular music creation 'Rolling in the Deep' as well as her most recent song, "Hello."

Adele appears to be right at home chatting with Corden. At one point in the YouTube video, the 27-year-old mom even asks on whether a wig or a weave is better suited for her.

Television Critics Association affiliates got an even better treat after taping ended last Monday. According to a report by USA Today, viewers got to watch the superstar rap and sing "Wannabe."

Adele admits that the Spice Girls hit is one of her childhood favorites.

For those unfamiliar with the show's skit, "Carpool Karaoke" features the talk show host driving with a well known celebrity on the passenger seat. Although the Corden show is relatively young, Vanity Fair said "Carpool Karaoke" has quickly become a fan favorite.

Other celebrities that have already made an appearance on the show include Iggy Azalea, One Direction, Jason Derulo and twice by Justin Bieber.

On USA Today, the host admitted that it was only having Mariah Carey on the show where he realized that the gig could work. However, the most memorable "Carpool Karaoke" for the host was sitting right next to Stevie Wonder.

"To be in a car with him," Corden said. "I never thought our show would get someone like him to do it so quick."

Telegraph reports indicated that Corden took over hosting for "The Late Late Show" in March 2015. Due to the show's recent success, the host has been offered an additional £3 million to extend his contract for an additional two years.

People says the full episode of "Carpool Karaoke" will be shown on CBS this Wednesday at 11:37pm CT.

According to the celebrity news site, "Carpool Karaoke" normally garners 10 million views. Justin Bieber's stint on the show currently holds the record at 48 million.

As of the time of this writing, the teaser video is nearing the 4 million mark.
