Many fans are looking forward to the latest update of "Diablo 3." Finally, the anticipated patch is available and every "Diablo" fan should rejoice.

According to Express, Blizzard aimed to release the new patch before the new season starts. "The January 15th date is the start of the new season. We plan to release the patch prior to the start of Season 5," Diablo community's Brandy Camel announced.

"While we typically patch on Tuesdays, dates can always shift if we run into technical issues during deployment preparations. This is why we do not provide hard release dates for any patch."

True to its words, Blizzard was able to deliver the update for "Diablo 3" just in time. The said update is now available to download on PlayStation 4. Patch 2.4.0 has several new contents in the gameplay that will surely add more fun in the game.

Among the new addition is the Greyhollow Island, which is a whole new setting that is surrounded by intriguing mystery, per Push. This island was once the center of a grand empire but it is now inhabited by new types of enemies.

Senior World Designer Leonard Boyarsky explained a short description of the storytelling method of Greyhollow Island and teases that it is more driven by exploration than exposition. "We focused on less of a main narrative, and more on mystery and side story and having the player piece together what was actually happening."

The isolated, mysterious and dangerous island delivers a creepy and lonely design that instills desperation. Everything in there, be it plants or animals, are bloodthirsty. So, this will surely be an adventure for players. See more details about this feature here.

Apart from this, two old locations have been expanded with new zones that are fully explorable with new bounties and events to make the game more exciting.

According to Forbes, the phenomenon "power creep" is better in the new patch. This occurs when overtime, the gradual power level of everything increases. To make the weak items or skills competitive, they are buffed. Some are buffed to the point that the strong turns weak and the player gets stronger and stronger while the enemies get weaker.

This does not make the game easier though because per the review, "Power creep has relatively little effect in most of those, as sometimes being too strong is a disadvantage."

Gamers who already downloaded "Diablo 3" patch 2.4.0 were happy with it and they are still exploring it. Have you tried the new update? If you do, share your experience in the comment section below.
