'Legends of Tomorrow' Spoilers & Trailer: Green Arrow's Son Confirmed in Episode 10 'Progeny'? Producer Teases on Twitter [Photo]
The CW series "Legends of Tomorrow" is getting interesting after speculations that DC will introduce the son of Green Arrow.
Although there is still no official announcement from either DC or The CW network, fans are pretty confident that Connor Hawke will appear in the next episode.
The rumors started when reports from Comic Book came out, claiming that the production is going to cast a biracial or an African-American "male who decides to put on the uniform of a missing hero who once stood for justice and hope."
Fans were quick to speculate that Connor Hawke will be the surprise character in the "Episode 10: Progeny."
According to a report by Screen Rush, the executive producer of the series, Marc Guggenheim, has already denied any involvement of Hawke in the near future. However, critics and fans alike refuse to believe that.
There are reports that say Hawke will be seen in the next episodes but not as Green Arrow's son with Sandra Hawke. That is going to be a very interesting twist if it pushes through.
History tells us that Connor Hawke is the son of the original Green Arrow, Oliver Queen and his African-American and Korean girlfriend Sandra Hawke.
There are also speculations that the series will feature old characters of both Green Arrow and Flash. According to a report relayed by Aces Showbiz, the show's other executive producer, Phil Klemmer, confirmed that the series will show two versions of both Oliver Queen and Barry Allen. It appears that "Legends of Tomorrow" is set to traverse time to showcase both characters in different eras.
"We will have a couple marked crossover moments that hopefully will keep people satisfied," he revealed.
The plan is only fitting to the shows unpredictable plot. The story of "Legends of Tomorrow" will involve several heroes such as Heat Wave, Captain Cold, Martin Stein, The Atom, Jay Jackson, White Canary and Hawkman.
The story will also feature Rip Hunter, who will be played by the actor Arthur Darvill. He is the rogue hero who has the power to travel through time assembles a group of villains and heroes to stop the dangerous Vandal Savage.
Meanwhile, Greg Berlanti, the show's writer/producer, told during a press tour on Sunday that the team is like a "dysfunctional family."
"I'm not sure I had that thought or any of us had that thought when we started out. But it was a dual desire to access all this wonderful talent we were fortunate enough to be working with, and also we looked at the landscape and felt like there wasn't a classic team-up show," he said.
