'Kingdom Hearts 3' Release Date & Characters: Jim Cummings Confirms Tigger, Pooh Characters; Title Set for 2017? [Rumors]
There are rumors that the anticipated title "Kingdom Hearts 3" will finally be released next year.
There is no doubt that many gamers are looking forward to getting their hands on "Kingdom Hearts 3," but Square Enix has been keeping things under wraps. Many are expecting that the title would be coming out this year.
Unfortunately, new reports are suggesting that it might be available in 2017 -- that is a year from now or probably longer, since were are still in the first month of 2016.
The reports about "Kingdom Hearts 3" going out in 2017 springs from director Tetsuya Nomura's interview with Games TM, wherein he revealed that the upcoming title will feature a new battle system and new unique moves.
Christian Today reported that there were rumors that the features were so much for Square Enix to do. Thus, it might take another year before "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be available.
Well, nothing is confirmed yet concerning the release date of "Kingdom Hearts 3." Let's just hope that the new features were already done or are about to be done when Nomura spoke about it. If so, there are still big chances that the game will be available this year.
Meanwhile, the inclusion of Pooh and Tigger in the upcoming title has been around the rumor mills. Kingdom Hearts Insider reported that Winnie the Pooh is the special guest in the upcoming title. There are also rumors that the adorable character will be part of the game.
The voice actor behind "Darkwing Duck" voice, Jim Cummings, didn't say much about the speculations but hinted that Pooh and his longtime friend Tigger will be playing a role in "Kingdom Hearts 3."
In a conference, Cummings stated that he had to "paraphrase the original Japanese script," which can create a challenge for them to record the dialogue. However, voicing Tigger was "fun."
Despite being forbidden, the American voice actor and singer added that he is already done with his part of recording for "Kingdom Hearts 3."
In a recent report from Gaming Bolt, Square Enix has not confirmed the inclusion of Pooh and Tigger in "Kingdom Hearts 3." However, it is unlikely for Cummings to talk about it if there are no plans to include these characters in the gameplay.
Meanwhile, Game Rampage suggested that game makers rarely hire voice actors early on in the development process. Thus, if Cummings is recording lines for the game, then the development is in the middle or towards the end. At the time, we can only guess how close the title is, to its finish line.
