Kylo Ren is even more evil than Anakin Skywalker, who still had some good in him and was powerful; therefore he wasn't totally emerged in the dark side. Anakin has failed the test of killing Luke, his son. By killing the Emperor and saving Luke, he restored order to the light side of the force and fulfilled the prophecy. On the other side, Kylo Ren accomplished his test to kill Han Solo, his father.
