Kingdom Hearts 3' Release Date, Trailer & Update: KH3 to Hit Stores in 2017; More Disney Characters to Be Featured?
Fans of the highly anticipated game "Kingdom Hearts 3" may need to wait for a little while until 2017 before the hit video game is released. Will "Kingdom Hearts 3" include more Disney characters?
Youth Health Mag reports that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will possibly be released in 2017 despite an Amazon listing surfacing for the pre-order of the game. The said KH3 listing says that "the item will be released on [Dec.] 30, 2016." However, it does not clearly say that fans will immediately get a hold of the game.
The Amazon listing also noted, "Customers may have received an email from Amazon stating that this title is scheduled to release on [Jan. 2, 2017]. Please note that the placeholder release date for this game is [Dec. 31, 2016], and [Jan. 1, 2017] just happens to be the next shipping day after that placeholder date. No actual release date is confirmed at this time. Apologies for any confusion this may have caused."
The Amazon listing suggests that gamers will only probably get a hold of "Kingdom Hearts 3" in 2017.
Meanwhile, in an interview with Games TM, game creator Tetsuya Nomura talked about the recent developments of the game and his collaboration with Disney.
When asked about his relationship with Disney while creating the game, he said, "I don’t feel they inhibited anything. The Disney worlds that appear within our game are their franchise so they’re interested in maintaining those worlds. But anything unique to Kingdom Hearts hasn’t been a source of disagreement from Disney."
Speaking of Disney, MoviePilot has listed some of the "weird" Disney characters that we might see in "Kingdom Hearts 3." According to the news outlet, we might see the characters from "Kim Possible," "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids," "Highschool Musical" and "Haunted Mansion."
However, these are just speculations. The more concrete characters that are rumored to be included in "Kingdom Hearts 3" are Winney The Pooh and Tigger, per a previous report from Latinos Health.
According to Kingdom Hearts Insider, during a Q&A at the Albuquerque Comic Con 2016 in New Mexico, Jum Cummings, who acts as the voice of Winnie The Pooh and Tigger, hinted that his recording work voicing Tiger was "fun" and it was already finished.
Square Enix and Disney have not yet confirmed of any character addition to "Kingdom Hearts 3," so gamers must still wait for 2017 before these speculations are confirmed.
