This year's Mobile World Congress will be held in Barcelona beginning Feb. 22, and all eyes are on the largest consumer electronics brands as they unveil the latest in smartphones and other devices. For now, however, fans and users of Android devices will have to rely on the leaks and rumors that have been circulating, particularly about the Samsung Galaxy and Galaxy Note lines.

According to WCCF Tech, it seems that Samsung has looked into sharing the unique curved design of the Galaxy Note Edge to the newer models that are debuting this year.

Samsung users should know first that the Galaxy Note 6 will come with dual processor, which seems to be the trend in mobile phones nowadays. The screen has also grown from the previous iteration, with 5.8 inches and WQHD (2560 x 1440) resolution. The screen is also Slim RGB AMOLED, so there will be a more crisp blue color, aside from the usual red and green. Of course, more screen power requires more battery power, and no word has come about regarding how much attention Samsung has placed on battery life.

As for hardware, it seems that the Galaxy Note 6 will have a 12 megapixel rear camera, a regression from the Note 5's powerful 16-megapixel camera. However, the Galaxy Note 6 is said to be powered by a Super OIS Plus, which enables image stabilization. The Note 6 will also be equipped with 6 GB of RAM, fitting for the software, display, and camera abilities of the phablet.

User may be able to enjoy their smartphones that will come in 64 GB and 128 GB storage and a pressure sensitive screen, which details and capabilities have not been fully explained yet.

In addition, Crossmap reports at Samsung has also patented their S-Pen stylus that will be present in the Galaxy Note 6. The stylus will also feature a locking mechanism for the smartphone, and act as a kickstand as well.

Meanwhile, Stuff reports that Samsung is finally bringing Galaxy Note 6 to the UK, with a launch date later this year. After refusing to release the Galaxy Note 5 in the UK, the brand will be bringing the latest iteration to the European part of the world, in replacement of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge+.

Samsung is set to exhibit their new products at Hall 3 Stand 3I10. According to the brand's official description at the exhibition, they are "breaking barriers to deliver a differentiated, diverse products and solutions portfolio that represents what people need in their everyday life" and aim "to provide more innovative and meaningful experiences for consumers in an increasingly connected world powered by collaboration and integration."
