Add Handful Of Nuts In Daily Diet: Reduce The Risk Of Heart Disease And Cancer
Now reduce the risk of Heart diseases and Cancer by eating a handful of nuts every day. An old saying is 'An apple a day keeps the doctor away' but now it will be 'Handful of nuts a day keeps chronic diseases away.'
As written in Global News, "New research suggests that eating a handful of nuts lowers your risk of chronic diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes, and cancer."
Alumni scientists of Imperial College London say that about 20 grams of nuts per day whether it may pecans to almonds or walnuts, cuts risk of plenty of diseases. Eating more will also not help as people who ate more than 20 grams don't seem to improve their health outcomes.
Nuts give healthy fats, vitamins, minerals and protein which fights with diseases specially heart diseases. Heart disease and cancer are two big health problems on the earth nowadays.
People who eat nuts on daily basis are most likely to have better health than people who don't. Studies show that eating a handful of nuts reduced a risk of heart disease nearly by 30 percent, diabetes nearly by 40 percent, cancer by 15 percent, and respiratory disease by 50 percent and premature death by 22 percent.
The researchers say that Nuts are nutrition powerhouses as they are high in antioxidants, fiber and polyunsaturated fats which help to reduce cholesterol levels and fight heart disease.
"Walnuts and pecan nuts are high in antioxidants, which can fight oxidative stress and possibly reduce cancer risk. Even though nuts are quite high in fat, they are also high in fiber and protein, and there is some evidence that suggests nuts might actually reduce your risk of obesity over time," as written in the Mirror.
The result provides that Nut consumption can reduce the risk of stroke, coronary heart disease, cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, respiratory disease and infectious disease.
