Nokia is all set to compete with the aggressive Android smartphone manufacturers. Although the rumors about Nokia releasing Android phones surface on the Internet a few months ago, Nokia has lately confirmed the news stating that it will launch Android lineup in 2017 in the first quarter.

Nokia is believed to release the two new Android phones at the Mobile World Congress which will be taking place in Feb-March 2017. As per what is known about the upcoming lineup, one is a flagship handset and other is a mid-range handset. The flagship handset has garnered most positive reviews which translate as people are more interested to know the flagship smartphone.

Nokia underwent a 10 years agreement with HMD for manufacturing of robust, and reliable design attributes. In an Interview with Arto Nummela, HMD's Chief Executive by The Economic Times of India, he states that when the two smartphones roll out in the market, it will give directly compete with some of the major smartphone manufacturers like Samsung and Apple and that Nokia will use an aggressive approach towards its specs and pricing to keep up with the pace of Android smartphone, quoted by Know Your Mobile.

According to sources, it suggests that both the Nokia handsets cost as low as $150 that is £141. Nokia Android phones specs as per a tipster on Nokia Power User reveals that the Nokia D1C with 3GB RAM will cost $200 whereas its lower-end version with have 2GB RAM and will be priced at $150. Further, it escalates that the Nokia D1C will roll out at the MWC 2017 first and then the lower-end variant will release.

As per report published by University Herald, Nokia D1C will launch in two variants, one with high-end specs and another with slightly lower-end specs. The Lower-end Nokia D1C will have a 1.43 GHz Octa-Core with Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC along with Adreno 505 GPU coupled with 2GB RAM. The smartphone will have a 5"1080p screen resolution with 13 MP rear camera setup. It will also have a 8 MP front camera and the thing for which people are eagerly waiting for a long time, it will run on Android 7.0 Nougat skipping all odds.

The high-end Nokia D1C will have high specifications like a 5.5" 1080p screen resolution. The smartphone will get its power by a 1.43 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 430 SoC with Adreno 505 GPU or higher. As per anticipated, the device will have 16GB Internal ROM and 3GB RAM. This smartphone will have Android 7.0 Nougat pre-installed.
