Moskito Specs, Review: The Latest Smartwatch With Speedometer Features
Who would have thought that owning a smart watch can be really fun? The Moskito smartwatch is more than just a smartwatch. It is also a speedometer for the bike. For all those gadget enthusiast, this is really a must-have.
Now, this is an easy to read analog watch combined with smart electronic parts. The biggest catch is users can use it as a watch mounted on the wrist to check the time.
It allows users to choose between the In Time Mode. In the setting users get to check the three hands of hours, minutes and seconds. There is a small dial which indicates the date. Interestingly, when synced with a smartphone, the device allows users to receive call notifications, text notifications and more. All that the users need to do is pair the watch with their Bluetooth device.
Coming to the biking feature of Moskito, users can strap the watch on the bike bar or stem. The device can be switched to Chrono or Speed mode, as and when required.
In the Speed Mode the minute hand shows the distance travelled, while the date hand shows average speed. In the Chrono Mode the hands indicate the travel time in minutes, hours and second. The biggest benefit of this smartwatch is that users can set targets for themselves. Users can sync ride data with Garmin Connect, Strava and more.
The specialty of the Chrono Mode is that it offers you a stopwatch like function which is absent in the Time Mode. Users can use the two side buttons to reset or start/stop laps. However, in the other modes, the side buttons are useless and users can only use the top button to toggle between modes.
The smartwatch includes a precision dial and six bidirectional motors. Along with this, the watch comes with rechargeable Li Ion batteries which lasts from 6 months to 2 years.
