After the much-awaited announcement, it was found out that it only involved handful of Pokemon creatures. In fact, before the announcement came in, players were excitedly discussing whether it would be the Legendary Gen 1 Pokémon is joining or maybe the rollout of 100 latest Pokémon from Gold and Silver's Gen 2.

The frantic players of Niantic's mobile gaming app were eagerly anticipating the launching of newborn Pokemon creatures. Their eagerness was prompted particularly after rumors exposed puzzling game files comprising codes for over 100 characters.

The announcement yesterday that was pinned up on the "Pokemon Go" certified website disclosed the two Pokemon creatures, namely Togepi and Pichuthat and "several additionally favored Pokémon." They will not show up in a raging effect and can simply be hatched from eggs.

Niantic's announcement additionally bared a Christmas pleasure for "Pokemon Go" fans with the presentation of a "limited-edition Pikachu," which the icing on the cake. The franchise's mascot will give rise in a festive hat up to December 29.
