Raw Shelled Pistachios are Recalled by HEB Grocery Chain for signs of Salmonella Contamination, News
HEB Grocery Company recalls the entire stock of the pistachio whether packaged or bulk because of the possibility of being it contaminated with salmonella.
Salmonella is a group of bacteria which mostly infects poultry products, and meat. Water also gets contaminated with it. Salmonella causes food poisoning, typhoid fever, enteric fever, gastroenteritis and other sicknesses writes MNT.
FDA carried a routine sampling of pistachio when the contamination was discovered but no reports of illness are recorded anywhere.

Minerals, vitamins and protein rich nuts are very good for body health and heart. They cure hypertension and help keep diabetes and weight in control.

If infection hits the human, they can experience vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, fever, and abdominal pain. People with weak immunity, children or elderly people when get infected, can face fatal circumstances.
The possibility of the bacteria getting in the blood stream can result into more serious sickness arthritis, endocarditis, and arterial infections.
