The Originals SEASON 4 SPOILERS: Caroline and Klaus Get Back Together? Hope Mikaelson Dies Saving Her Father?

It was especially painful for fans to watch the last season of The Originals when Klaus was unfortunately imprisoned by a Tunde Blade and a cement wall barricading him from the world. The act was brought to life by no one else but Klaus' trusty friend Marcel Gerard.

Marcel had every right to behave so rashly after his beloved friend Davina met her cruel demise on the hands of Freya Mikaelson. But, viewers will have their curiosity quenched as the 4^th season is said to air on 17^th March, 2017.

Although that date is a bit far away from now, it seems like the writers are already done with the writing of the entire season. Michael Narducci hinted towards this when he posted a picture of "The Originals Season 4 Wrap Party".

Another writer of the series, Michelle Paradise has been suggesting that the crew is busy writing the season finale. Meaning, season 4 is almost done and ready to hit the TVs and websites.

On December 7^th Michelle stated that the filming of 12 episodes was done and that they are currently filming the season finale meaning the total of season 4 is 13 episodes. Although this isn't what fans wanted, this is what they'll get.

The CW has not yet confirmed whether there will be a Season 5 to the series or not since the last released season; (season 3) scored an average of 0.93 M views. Which is 33% lesser than the average recorded amount of season 2.

Witchcraft is no stranger to the show and some say that in the 12^th episode which is called Voodoo Child fans will be seeing some serious cult black magic. And as the episode's title hints; Hope might be the one practicing it.

Although Klaus' family will be trying their best to save him, there is a rumor circling around whether Caroline (Candice King), Klaus' infamous lady crush will be the one who saves him.

The Vampire Diaries' last episode showcased her fiancé Stefan (played by Paul Wesley) will be leaving to join his brother Damon on a mission to avoid hell's hottest and cruelest fires. Her kids and Alaric will be heading to a safer environment.

And Bonnie will be flying to Paris with her boyfriend Enzo. This leaves Caroline on her own (maybe with Matt) so she might seek out her long lost lover and be the one to save him.
