Warner Bros. Pictures has revealed the full lineup of the Justice League movie cast. The movie, although still up to a year away, is already very perceptible.
The cast lineup will include Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon.
Although this should not come as a surprise to fans, but it does confirm that we have not seen the last of Lex Luthor in the DC extended universe.
Although, not in the official Justice League movie cast lineup that was just released by the studio, it is expected that Amber Heard will appear as Mera, Ciaran Hinds as Steppenwolf, and Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, according to Comingsoon.
The official synopsis for justice league states that, fueled by Bruce Wayne's restored faith in humanity and also inspired by Superman's selfless act, He will enlists the help of Diana Prince, his newfound ally to face an even greater enemy. Batman and Wonder Woman works together to quickly find and recruit a team of meta-humans to stand against the newly awakened threat.
Despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes, Batman, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg and The Flash, it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
The movie will be directed by Zack Snyder, and the screenplay will be by Chris Terrio from a story by Snyder and Terrio. The producers will include Deborah Snyder, Charles Roven, Jon Berg and Geoff Johns, while the executive producers are Wesley Coller, Curt Kanemoto, Jim Rowe, Chris Terrio and Ben Affleck, according to superherohype.
Justice League will hit theaters on November 10, 2017.
