Thor:Ragnarok: Director confirms influences with comic 'Planet Hulk'; Thor and Hulk will team up to fight against Hela
Thor: Ragnarok is slated to release in October 2017, and will outrun its prequel Thor 2. Originally slated to launch as Thor 3, the Thor: Ragnarok is speculated to be based on the Planet Sakaar which confirms the influences from the comic "Planet Hulk".
As per sources, the third installment of the movie Thor will have Hela as the supervillain. The cool thing about the movie is that Hulk will be a part of the movie where the angry beast and the God of Thunder will fight Hela. Thor is known is the God of Thunder. He can defeat any enemy with his Mjolnir whereas Hulk is little too aggressive. He smashes things and destroys it completely. It will be a movie worth watching.
Earlier, it was unclear on which Planet the movie will be based. Well, after a hint from the director of the movie, Taika Waititi, he stated that the protagonists of the movie will meet at Planet Sakaar. He commented that "Sakaar was just an instance, a far-off futuristic place which was the biggest shift for the film and these characters", as stated by Games Radar+. The movie has wrapped up shooting and will undergo special effects and other procedures before hitting cinemas across the globe.
Daily Super Hero elaborated by stating other comments made by the director according to which the Hulk and the Thor will meet at Planet Sakaar where Hulk is known as Gladiator in reference tot he comic "Planet Hulk". The story might swirl away from what is depicted in the Comics, however, it will only be known once the trailers are out. A hint of Hulk being a gladiator was displayed at the San Diego Comic-Con where his Gladiator armor was on display.
Chris Hemsworth will play the character of Thor, Mark Ruffalo will be Bruce Benner aka Hulk. Other actors in Thor: Ragnarok is Tom Hiddleston who will play the character of Loki, Thor's brother, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Cate Blanchett as Hela, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, amongst others.
