Airpods Users Complain Of Battery Drain Problem In Charging Case; Apple Battery Saga Continues
It seems that Apple battery issues don't seem to stop with the MacBook Pro. Joining in with it is the latest Apple Airpods. Some reports indicate that several users have been complaining about the battery drain problem with the charging case that comes with Airpods.
According to Digital Trends, the charging case, included with Airpods has its own battery. When users put the Airpods in the case, it simply charges the Airpods. The tech giant, Apple claims that the battery is capable of holding up to 24 hours of charge, however, several users have recently complained of battery drainage of up to 40 percent.
As per the users, the problems arise when the Airpods have full charge in it and with absolutely minimal Bluetooth connectivity. Interestingly, Apple has taken up the issue quite seriously as they are handing over replacements to unsatisfied customers. One of the users even complained about a battery problem with Airpods case that resulted in 15% to 20% of charge drainage over the night.
The Company had replaced the customer's Airpods with a new one and the customer didn't seem to face any problem with the new Airpods. This shows that there are few models which are facing this glitch instead of all the wide range models. Interestingly, when the Airpods were first launched, the customers were happy with the battery life.
The customers were also happy with the fast charging and the convenience to check how far the device was charged. It is only recently, a week ago, that few Airpods users have complained about the battery drainage issue.
According to MacRumors, Apple hasn't replied to any of the allegations made about the battery drainage problem, yet. It is only a matter of time to see how soon the Tech biggie jumps to solve the issue and win over the customers.
There is also no confirmation till date as to how many users are facing this charge drainage issue. Some users have claimed the issue to be connected with the charge cycle, while others believed the issue only got worse after they started using Airpods.
