Most Surprising Revelation About The Sun: Head Of The Solar Family Not Responsible For Climate Change

It is truly surprising, but at the same time amazing to know that the sun is not the key source to perform all changes on this planet. A recent study has changed a vital concept that the sun is the key cause of climate change on earth.

So far it is believed that warm and cold weather on earth is the aftermath of the periodic changes of the solar activity. In a word, variations of the heat from the sun is considered as the key cause of the climate change on earth.

But new research has revealed different truths. The study of the new research on climate change in the northern hemisphere defines that volcanic eruptions are the key cause of the climate change until the year 1800.

The research was done on the facts and incidents of 1000 years until the year 1800. The findings unveil that volcanic eruptions are the real cause behind the climate changes during these 1000 years. In a word, volcanic eruptions ultimately prevented sufficient amount of sunlight to earth.

Since the year 1900, greenhouse gasses are the key cause of the climate change on this planet. In 2014 a research team of the Lund University showed that regional climate is actually influenced by the sun. It helps to make predictions on climate conditions of certain regions.

Now scientists from the University of Edinburgh opine that low solar activity doesn't provide any major impact on the temperature on earth.  This actually helps the researchers to find out several different facts related to the climate change.

Sources from the University of Edinburgh also unveils that scientists of this university have already carried out a research using some important records. The records contain data of the past temperatures.

The unique fact is the data is prepared from tree rings and other important past sources. The scientists have compared the collected data record with the "computer- based models of the past climate".  The comparison clearly reveals the significant changes in the activity of the sun.

The findings, collected from the comparison, have explored that minimal changes in the solar activity can correlate with the previous temperature records. Now the whole thing discovers one simple fact that is solar activities are not the key driver of the climate change in the past millennium.

Dr. Andrew Schurer of the School of GeoSciences has opined that the impact of the sun on the past climate was not clearly understood. New discoveries have provided some vital information regarding the solar activity and the climate change.

He even expects those new findings will help to understand the actual reasons behind the past climate change. Most importantly, those reasons definitely help to predict the future development of the climate change.
